Eden Hazard may have scored a late winner against Cyprus to move Belgium closer to Euro 2016, but coach Marc Wilmots still laid into the Chelsea star and his team for their limp efforts.
He also singled out Liverpool striker Christian Benteke for criticism, although he was relieved with a Group B result that steered his team to the brink of qualification for next year's finals in France.Pirlo is Still Good

Seventeen months have now passed since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure and few obvious points of progression at United post-Moyes can be nailed down in spite of the fact that truly gargantuan financial sums have been fervently offered up to the continent in a jittery bid to salve cuts and bruises that are proving uncomfortably stubborn.

Wayne Rooney needs more freedom at Manchester United, says Gary Neville
Football pundit Gary Neville believes Louis van Gaal needs to give Wayne Rooney more freedom if he wants to see the Manchester United captain back to his best.
The England captain has featured as a lone forward in all of United's four league games this season but Neville, who described United's formation as "rigid," believes Rooney needs to get back to playing the game he knows best.
"Louis van Gaal wants him to play in between the two centre-backs and not move," Neville told Super Sunday.
"That is not Rooney's game. It hasn't been his game for 11 years. You see him charging into channels. You see him hunting back and you see him all over the pitch. You can't contain him.

Jeremy Peace admits he must 'repair the damage' with Saido Berahino after transfer fiasco
The England Under-21 striker handed in a transfer request last week but all four Spurs approaches for his services were rebuffed by the Baggies, citing a gross misunderstanding of his value.
Berahino subsequently took to Twitter to slam Peace for failing to supplement any deal, and Peace confessed that, while he feels Albion blossomed in the window, he must now mop up the mess regarding his wantaway striker’s future.
In a statement on the club's website, Peace said on West Brom's transfer business:
“We have spent a record amount of money on transfers for a single window and our wage commitments will be at record levels too,” said Peace.
“We have pushed our spending on new players as far as we can, ever-mindful of the fact that we have to run the Club on a solvent basis and within the Financial Fair Play rules.
“We have confidence in the squad which will now carry us forward under Tony’s guidance."
And on Berahino:
“We have a key player who has been very unsettled by antics which were designed to get him out of our club cheaply.
"Those tactics have continued despite my making our position clear in my first conversation with Daniel Levy on this subject in mid-August.
“I said selling Saido so late in the window was not on our agenda.
“Tottenham’s offers failed substantially to reflect Saido’s true value while the timing made no allowance for our own recruitment of a suitable replacement for a proven Premier League goalscorer.
“Saido has been unsettled to the point where our Head Coach has not felt able to select him for our last three games.
“We are now left with the task of repairing the damage created by this unfortunate episode.”
Tottenham offered Emmanuel Adebayor to Marseille on Deadline Day in last ditch attempt to offload striker
Spurs were desperate to shift the striker before Tuesday's deadline, with Aston Villa and West Ham both keen.
No deal was struck, though, and the former Arsenal man will now train with the under-21s until January.
Piers Morgan slams ‘arrogant’ Arsene Wenger – ‘I spent more in Starbucks than Arsenal in the transfer window!’
"Yesterday the deadline elapsed and I spent more money buying a cup of coffee in Starbucks for £2.50 than Arsene Wenger spent in the window after initially buying Cech earlier in the summer.
'Berahino is going to have to eat humble pie'
“It was a really bad statement to put on Twitter I think. It was a young man being a bit silly. He needs to go out there and apologise and knuckle down.

VERRATTI INTRESTED IN EPL MOVE
TRANSFER LATEST
Roman Abramovich is ready to give Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho approval to make three more signings after the club's slow start to their Premier League title defence.
The Daily Mirror says Abramovich's decision is likely to mean an improved bid for Everton defender John Stones, possibly as much as £34m - which would be a British record fee for a defender - with Mourinho also looking for a central midfielder and another attacking option.
The Sun claims Atletico Madrid's French winger Antoine Griezmann is likely to be targeted in a deal of arpund £25million, but there's no word on which midfielder they claim Mourinho wants, although we wouldn't be hugely surprised if Zenit's Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel is once again linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Either way, it seems Mourinho and Abramovich are not resting on their laurels and want a swift reaction to the poor start to their Premier League title defence.
UNITED MAKE LAPORTE CHECK
Manchester United supremo Ed Woodward checked on Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte on Monday night, claims the Daily Mail.
Woodward, in Catalonia to push through a deal for Pedro and also used the trip to scout Bilbao centre-half Laporte.
He took in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup between Barca and Bilbao at the Nou Camp - a 1-1 draw ensured the Basque side were shock 5-1 winners on aggregate.
A centre-back is not a priority for Louis van Gaal but Laporte, 21, has been on United's radar for a while since establishing himself as a Bilbao regular in 2013.
He put speculation over his future to bed in June by signing a new contract to remain with the La Liga club until 2019.
The fresh terms include a £36.5m release clause but United have retained their long-term interest.
VERRATTI OPEN TO LIVERPOOL MOVE
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has admitted he is open to a move Liverpool or Barcelona, despite insisting he is 'happy' in the French capital.
The 12-capped Italy international has made it clear he intends to stay in Paris, but admits he would 'consider his options' on a move to Spain or England if PSG decided to cash in.
Verratti is wanted by Liverpool now and Barcelona in January 2016, when their transfer embargo is lifted, after several scintillating displays for Laurent Blanc's Ligue 1 champions.
