Ramos Contract Extended

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos has signed a new long-term contract at Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has signed a new five-year contract extension that will keep him at the Bernabeu until 2020.
Ramos was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United over the summer, but the new deal has now ended the Premier League side’s pursuit of the centre-back.

United reportedly had a £28.6million bid for the 29-year-old defender rejected in June.
Ramos’ previous deal was set to expire in 2017.
