PEDRO SET FOR UNITED

Balague: Pedro has agreed personal terms with Man Utd

Pedro scored six La Liga goals for Barcelona last season.

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Barcelona superstar Pedro, according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, though the two clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee.

The 28-year-old winger has been linked heavily with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, and with Angel Di Maria finally departing for Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, talk of the Spain international moving to United is expected to increase.
On Wednesday, Goal reported that the Red Devils and Barcelona had agreed a €32 million deal for Pedro. However, Balague has denied that this is the case, as the expert claims that United are yet to make an offer to Barcelona.

Pedro completed 87% of his passes in La Liga last season.

Pedro struggled to enforce himself at Barcelona as Luis Enrique’s men won a stunning treble last term. The 28-year-old may have played 35 times in La Liga, but he started just 15 times, highlighting his super-sub role at the Camp Nou.
The forward managed to score six goals and register six assists for the La Liga champions.
Meanwhile, United have already been very active this summer making a number of big name signings such as Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The Red Devils kicked off their new Premier League campaign with a home clash against Tottenham Hotspur on August 8th with a dull 1-0 victory.
